StudyFlow ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use StudyFlow.
Information We Collect
- Account info: Name and email address when you sign up
- Study data: Notes you paste, study plans generated, quiz scores, and session progress — stored locally on your device
- Payment info: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics to improve the app
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve StudyFlow's features
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send you important account updates
- To respond to your support requests
Your Notes and Study Data
Your notes are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your study plan. They are not stored on our servers permanently and are not used to train AI models. Study plans and progress are stored locally on your device using browser storage.

- Firebase (Google): Authentication and account management
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Anthropic: AI-powered plan and question generation
- Formspree: Contact form submissions
Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and are PCI compliant. We never store credit card information.
Children's Privacy
StudyFlow is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Parents may contact us at ethanhwang787@gmail.com to request deletion of their child's data.
